Chicago street party Westfest 2010 has been a very successful event with the unique sound of Void Acoustics.
Annually organized by the Chamber of Commerce, the summer festival is a much anticipated event in Illinois, which runs two days of live music and entertainment in Chicago Avenue. Void Acoustics has been the first choice of audio system by the production, bringing Audio Integration Services, Void Acoustics Distributor in USA, into the street festival where some of the World renowned DJs were playing.
For the main stage, welcoming over 2000 party goers, Mathew Edgar from AIS provided four Air Motion speakers and 4 Stasys X. He also installed two Airtens and two Arcline X subwoofers to the DJ monitors transforming the festival into a truly captivating musical experience. Matt commented: ‘The reaction to the sound system was incredible, the true Chicago house-heads danced through the weekend, rain and shine. The Airmotion Stasys X Combo truly sounds amazing’. Striz, the main DJ, added: ‘The sleek visual aesthetics of the tops drew curious passersby in for a closer look, and the immaculate audio clarity kept them front and center for the duration without fatigue! Even the most seasoned of Chicago night lifers were blown away by the rig, which rivals any club sound system in the city.’
Keeping up with the Westfest tradition, the famous house music DJ Derrick Carter closed the festival on the last night to the excitement of the dancing crowd.
